The Holy Spirit is not an impersonal power or energy source— He is the third person of the Trinity—fully God, equal with the Father and the Son.  He is not distant or abstract—He is God’s personal presence with us.  He teaches, guides, comforts, and empowers believers to live the life God calls them to live. The Holy Spirit is not a mystery meant to confuse us—He is a gift meant to draw us closer to God.
